    I really doubt Dawes will be available - he is still in the rehab group, Pederson isn't much value in the ruck and the other talls aren't ready except for Spencil who is no use in the forward line. We are light on for tall forwards. I want Watts in the forward line but I don't see where support for Gawn is going to come from

    I went for O. Mac because I doubt Dawes or Frost will be ready and he showed plenty in the last couple of games. I think the club see him as a potential key forward. Hulet is the interesting smokey - body seems ready and there's some aggression about him - depends what he shows in the NAB.

    Jackson and Roos are exactly what the club needed and the signs for Goodwin are very encouraging. Even more important than recruiting is player retention and I feel the current structure gives us every chance in that area.

    I can see its usefulness but the standard of presenters, with a few exceptions such as Ox, are abysmal and their advertising really is cringe worthy.

    No pressure was put on him to explain the untenable position he maintains that the players were not injected with performance enhancers but at the same time pleading ignorance about what was in the injections and why no records were kept. Holmes asked predetermined questions but at no stage did she challenge any of his responses.
