I see a video is now up of Jay Lockhart receiving ‘ the news ‘ - good to see and I take back my previous comments. Maybe my lack of info from the club is a glitch but I have received nothing from them after joining over a month ago.

I think our media dept stinks this year. Whatever happened to the vision of the debutants being told they were to play. The Casey reports are very basic. It used to be that members would receive a text about team selections. It looks like very little effort is being made to inform and involve the membership. I put this down to Pert. Maybe I’m wrong but I doubt it.

Does anyone have any idea where Lockhart will play. He’s named in the back pocket but I thought he was more a midfield/forward type.

Have a real soft spot for him and wish him all the best. I remember my son coming across him at various venues and unlike many of his teammates at the time who were very aloof he was always friendly and willing to have a chat. A genuinely good guy who deserves better.

His role will be to be sprayed with Gatorade at the games end.

i think if we had been 10 goals up it would have gone un-noticed - it was a crucial time in the match and the ball went up the other end for a goal and so it was a 12 point turn around. Unfortunately it seems time is catching up with Chunk - his decision making and disposal is not what it used to be.
