Oliver ( A.K.A Dee traitor,just joking) had 39 disposals for his losing side last night unfortunately didn't kick a goal. Teams need mids that are capable of kicking goals also Ruckman. At the moment we don't have either.

We should do extremely well, forget about last week's result. Blues to win by 20 pts.

I would interchange L.Pickett with Mathews after the Carlton matches. We need to get seniors matches into both players and by dropping one back to Casey it should improve their confidence. If both do well later in the year then we could play both of them in the seniors.

Being able to sue somebody for concussion or mental health reasons and getting a pay out from some organisation is going to be the the killer of AFL football let alone junior football and other sports. AFL footballers get paid well these days , the players should have their own insurance. We may even get to a stage whereby players will sue players from other club due to sustained concussion. Biggest winners will be the Lawyers naturally.

Does anyone think Onley will become a star for Casey this year? No doubt the Casey side will improve , can see them playing finals.

The loser will be a bottom 4 club for sure. Lock it in Eddy. Despite CJ being quick, I don't think he is going to be up to AFL standard as a defender. We are now looking like swiss cheese full of holes.

What is going to happen in four weeks time if there is no fuel ? Will the Afl close the comp down ? Many people will no be able to get to work resulting in more unemployment , perhaps there will be massive shortage of food. We will certainly be going GREEN. Our previous leaders shut down oil refineries because they wanted to keep prices up and possibly(doubt it) reduce pollution due to fossil fuel. Sending ships containing petroleum to Oz could lead to a massive enviromental problem if the ship is sunk. Hopefully the crisis is over soon. I wish to thank the Founders and the Protectors of this great country. Most of all I want us to win another flag.

Was a good win first up. We need to improve our defence , giving away 15 goals is too much. It is going to see how Viney can make it back to the seniors if Steele is doing well. Kentfield , AMw and Taylor will be pushing for senior selection in the near future which is good to have decent back ups. Has any heard how Dersken (Blues) , Yze and Sestan are going. All three probably unlucky not to be playing AFL , perhaps coaches killed their careers ?

I would expect the selected side would be 2 hours after the match has been completed. Fantasy having a bye round 2 , i would never expect that.

Oliver is no longer an elite mid at this stage. It is a lose lose for GWS and the Dees. Perhaps he thinks he doesn't need to be elite anymore, he get a beaut pay packet from two clubs. If this is the case it is a pity. I wish him all the best except when GWS v DEES.

I think is about time we dropped the name CASEY , other Afl clubs have done so. Perhaps the reserve side would get noticed more. Example the listing of the team for the last practice match. Just an idea.

I went to a NBL match many years ago , every time some someone scored they would be snippets of luny tune songs. Constant listening to whistle happy referees sounding their instrument of annoyance and luny tunes , it was so off putting, I never watched another match. We are not Yanks ( being part of a U.S corporation should not count) so why do we have to follow in their footsteps?

After part of round 1 and round zero, you can conclude that ESSENDON , CARLTON , RICHMOND year is over. NTH , WEST COAST year be over soon . The loser between the DEES and SAINTS year will be over.

I think the Saints paid too much for De Koning, It kinda equals to us having to pay towards Oliver's salary. DeKoning and Silvani are players I wouldn't get , I just don't rate them. Nasiah and Pickett are also overpaid players , but I can understand MFC coming to the party. Also we able to get Latrelle.

It's 10.30am 7th March 2026 and their is still no mention of the Casey playing soon. F.....K , what is wrong with MFC that they cannot organise a Casey team list for today. Every year since our reserves became Casey there has been zero info about practice matches. Perhaps MFC do not consider Casey as an entity !

Not sure if the Petracca trade was a win win for both clubs. Certainly G.C benefited by the trade , MFC unknown at this stage.

Richmond have already announced their team for today's clash. Cannot seem to find Casey's team. Mind you that's not unusual. I often wonder why we have reserves , the fixture year after year is a sham. I wonder if the club cares about it?

Rumour has it that the reason why KENTFIELD was wearing a mask was because he wanted to audition for Phantom of the Opera.

If Culley plays we will be top4, without Culley top 18.

Some guy was in charge of the reserve bank. He stated that interest rates would be going up because people are spending more. The Govt gave people a tax cut plus a pay rise. On this logic people have more money and can spend more. If interest rates go up, people have to spend more anyway. Strange. After interest rates have come down they are gong back up again this the female head of the reserve bank blames it on low unemployment figures. In 75 there were plenty of full jobs , in there is a lots more casual and part time jobs. Both 75 and now the jobless figures are approx. the same. According to Centrelink if you do ! hour work per fortnignt you are emplyed.

Tracc and Oliver were down in disposals in 25 compared to the premiership days. They were no longer the dynamic duo , perhaps they wanted out for some reason or other. Perhaps they just gave us the bare minimum. Oliver hasn't kicked a great deal of goals .Compare Season 24 and 25 Tracc 14,18 respectively, Oliver 3,4 respectively, Bont 19,32 respectively and Heeney 30,35 respectively. I know stats can be misleading. This year we have a lot more fire power, our defence looks good. Culley should do well as a forward or a mid. Top 4 is on the cards.

Next two training sessions are the 4th Feb and 11th Feb respectively. Why are we only training once a week ?
