On my post dated 1st December 2025, there is a word at the beginning of my post Apoplexia. Did not know what it meant so I looked it up on 22Dec at 5.30 pm. I have a witness to state that I didn't use this word. I posted something about Ox's fear for the Dees in 26 , somehow it didn't make it to air. Where can I find a list of what I cannot post on this site?

There are good coaches and no so good coaches ( often career killers ) that determine the team's outcome . Under King I am sure we will make finals providing we don't have a lot of injuries.

I can see another year of a [censored] comp. Would like to see a comp of 2X12 teams. Western conference and an Eastern conference. The top 4 of each conference play each other to eventually determine the G.F winner. The extra club could come from S.A , W.A and Tasmanian. Victorian clubs being the bulk could play in each of the two conferences. Each club will play 22 home and away matches. Each club to have one mid season bye (allows players to freshen up). Victorian clubs would rotate between the conference at the start of every new season i.e in 26 and 27 Casey would play in the East , 28 Casey then would play in the West. Otherwise the reserves could be an U23's plus each club is allowed to players over .Only one bye.

Haven't heard much on Kentfield. Does any know ?

Talk about captains wasn't Jones and Viney were co captains? As I remember whaen we got our a.ses kicked neither of them came out and criticized their fellow players for poor performance. Most like they looked at each other dumbfounded.

Age (over 30) these day are overrated.When Geelong won their last flag I thought not possible due to too many old folks in the the team. Collingwood have Sidebottom playing well in the midfield. Pendurbury 100 years old still playing well. Teams are better at managing players especially the older ones. You need "old" experience players to teach the young ones.

Gawn has done a great job as a Captain , I think it is time to give it to someone else. Gawn can concentrate on being a champion footballer. Players would have to vote but the final say would be the coach. Turner , Steele(short term) , Lindsay would be my picks.

Kynan should have trained as a small forward, once again a coach can make you or break you. We kept on selecting players who were underperforming, it is as if we cherished losing.

Apoplexia . I had teachers that varied in style .A year 11 Maths teacher that could hardly speak English,A year 10 Physics teacher who banished the weak ( under achievers ) to the back of the class. The school system was a fail as there was no monitoring the sub standard teaches. Most of our reserve players( afl contracted ) didn't step up,playes like Sestan ,Pup ,Laurie to name a few. We can say these players were "clunkers" which may be true but so are our regular senior players. Whatever problem we think that Onley may have(or not), King will do wonders for the kid. Motivation will be one of them.

Could Yze be a Train on player?

I don't give a rats ar.. about draft ratings. The recruiting of the players we chose were good because we cover most basis. We didn't get a prize F.F nor did other clubs. I am sure we will go up the ladder in spades next year under King's leadership.

Great news . I feel for Yze , kicking 7 goals in a reserves final doesn't mean much.

We passed on pick 57. What happens to K.White, T.Sinnema and young Yze ?

Just reading Zero Hanger draft picks for the Dees pick 11 Taylor pick 12 Nairn pick 15 Lindsay. ( not necessarily written in stone). Not sue how we ended up with a 3 1ST rounders?

11th will be the new 9th.

Trade our pick 7 and 8 for W.C pick 2 & 13 probably won't do it however if we toss in our F1 might get the job down. Cannot help to think that Essendon could get pick 2.

5th King will do wonders for our foot soldiers. I would expect that our lesser known players will step up. ( perhaps that was the whole team i was talking about)

Blease was faster than a speeding bullet unfortunately he had the ball in his hand !!!!!!

For the crappy pick we got for him and considering we are paying part of his wage. I hope we don't end up getting EGG on our faces. Personally I wouldn't let him go for nix. Let him take a paycut if he wanted out so badly.

My final picks(total 3 ) for 25 draft Dovaston definite ,Robey ( if possible) Or Greeves , Farrow ,Cummings , Onley ( A tall mid possibly our next Luke Jackson) .

We need two good mids that are over 186 cm ,and are talented. We need Dovaston as a small forward. If other clubs believe the draft is weak ,we might be able to get Hawks pick 10 for our F1. OR get W.C pick 2 for our F1 (highly unlikely).

If we cannot get Robey perhaps we can get Greeves.

CJ could end up as a forward. Why is a certain person I mentioned get canned by ....... but is able be mentioned in jnrmac post. So unfair

Joel Smith in my opinion was a better forward than a defender because he was always getting injured. CJ could possibly end up as a forward it depends on the Demons brain tust.

If this kid is a so called draft bolter and based on people views he plays like Cripps or Oliver then the club should go after him. (sell the farm) The 64 dollar question is to find out why do "draft kids" become draft Bolters? Someone would get a Phd out of this.
