  1. Players have not been served with infraction notices even though ASADA believes they have enough evidence in the interim report.

ASADA are understood to have withheld their decision pending further evidence that might be available due to additional powers of interrogation.

The Essendon officials have been charged under AFL rules not ASADA rules for bringing the game into disrepute.

David Evans and Paul Little have both admitted the supplements program's were wrong.

Essendon's own commissioned Ziggy report paints a picture of a cowboy chemical operation without due oversight and governance.

They entered this program despite being clearly an often warned by the AFL about not being involved in illegal substances.

They have sacked a number of people involved with the highest executive scalp being the CEO because he did not know what was going on. Yet those that should have known remain intact in their jobs.

Essendon's interactions with Dank and their program has been the subject of an ACC report into illegal supplements in sport and has lead to an extensive ASADA investigation because Essendon don't know what went on in their club. Essendon's folly has derailed media attention away from the football and sidetracked AFL focus on more important issues for the game like equalisation etc.

And you think Essendon has enhanced the game this year? They may challenge the legality of the AFLs disrepute law in the courts but this won't take away the stain and smear of the most reckless and unprofessional conduct ever seen in a sporting club in Australia.

Plus we hate Essendon and want revenge for the 148 point loss to them this season.

  2. Essendon is adopting a risky strategy to say the least - Defiant Bombers say they'll clear names after AFL charges

Those who have been charged are entitled to seek to clear their names and while the decision by ASADA/AFL to issue an interim report without finalising the position of the players might have been designed to bring the matter to a swift resolution, it looks like backfiring at a heavy cost to all concerned.

Unless there's a change of heart, the Bombers might well still play in the finals this year but the future of the club remains at risk if the investigation into the supplements programme continues or the matter goes to court. The eyes of the sporting world will be on this case without a doubt.

And dare I ask but where are the politicians who were all over this when the story first came out on 5 February?

    Do we need them?

  3. If the MFC can not secure an experienced coach I think we should appoint a Demonland poster (one of us).

My vote is for Hogans_Heros a man who can saywhat he said about married is either deluded or the bravious mam I never meet. Surely as a MFC supporter he can not be deluded therefore he must the right man for the job.

IMO noone could ba as bad as Mark Neeld as Senior Coach and think with that many assistant and ther coaches there no need to actual turn up to games if they have something better to do on the week ends, plus there always Neil Craig if things go too badly.

IMO Roos is never coming to the MFC, why would he risk his reputation and future career prospects in doing so?

It will be a very brave person indeed who would want to coach the MFC if they are already a sucessful and experienced AFL coach.`

However if I am wrong and PJ can recruit Roos or someone like him the GOD is truely a MFC supporter who punishing us for sacking Norm Smith.

  4. I don't really understand how the report didn't give evidence that any players were administered illegal drugs, yet the club and administrators were charged. How did they bring the game into disrepute if they didn't do anything illegal? Seems like Essendon have a very strong case if this goes to court, IMO.

Think the MFC and Tanking and you get the idea

  5. I hate East Fremantle (WAFL), South Fremantle (WAFL) and Fremantle (AFL) so I would appreciate them all getting smashed on the week end.

I was at the Fremantle Corporate Function a few weeks ago (when they played the Crows) and they were laughing at us and said no one wound admit to being a MFC Supporter after our 122 loss to North Melbourne.

Its time to put these upstarts back in their place, pity our team is so bad.

  6. I think you are pushing the limit of my existence TBF

apparently Mr Hird was a way of keeping yourself younger for Longer. No sure you may like the side effects but I guess what ever it takes to see the 13th Premiership must be a good thing?

  7. Next time Bbo just stick it in an envelop and post it to me.

I think the MFC need to funds more.

Not a good year in so many ways.

On a brighter note think we will finish second or third last this year as last place will surely be given to the Drug Lords.

Poor old Messendon their GOD (Hird) has let them all down so badly.

I hate drugs in sport and it looks like we will not see much of cycling for years to come as the sport appears to be much worse the anything Messendon has done.

  8. Well I will be candid! This whole year of football nonsense is due to the football club called Essendon. They are the ones who have brought this on and should not be complaining about the wall of shyte coming their way. This football club and its arrogance need to be put back in their box. It is this football club that has brought our game into disrepute.

So to those at bummer land shut the [censored] up and take your medicine. The rest of the football world has had a gutful of your arrogance and blameless attitude to what is a problem totally ignited from within your own engine room.

They are attempting to protect their GOD, James Hird.
