  1. I had a feeling that these Air Jordons I bought in Thailand were fake.
  2. This thread is jinx proof. What could go wrong by posting this?
  3. can’t blame their supporters. I would be the most insufferable [censored] if we won 3 in 4 years.
  4. Geelong won 23 games between Rd 12, 1952 and Rd 13, 1953 which spanned 378 days. However they also did not lose a game between Rd 9, 1952 and Rd 13, 1953 which spanned 399 days because they drew Rd 11, 1952. I’m not sure if we can count clubs that didn’t field teams during war years that may have won the last match they competed in before disbanding and then returning.
  5. Hopefully we can trot this sign out.
  6. Sadly 20,667
  7. This would be the most Melbourne thing that could happen .... the old Melbourne (I hope).
  8. I believe so. The other week I mistakenly used the wrong barcode Junior 1-5 instead of Concession for my nephew. There is nothing on the ticket or on the scanner that indicates this so you should be fine as my nephew was. Back in the day at Docklands there was a screen above the turnstiles that when the ticket was scanned indicated to the attendant whether the ticket was for an adult or child. I assume this was to stop adults from buying a cheaper childs ticket/membership. I don't know if this is still the case at Docklands but it has never been the case at the G. The backs of our physical membership tickets do indicate whether the membership is adult or junior and some attendants in the premium membership areas check that status when checking whether your membership allows you access to that area. The mobile ticket that I have for entry into this game doesn't indicate whether my ticket is for an adult and the attendant at the entrance to the premium bays can only see the Bay number. In summary you should be ok but don't blame me if you are locked up for this heinous crime.
  9. Correct. We're all labelled as Priority 1 despite the fact that I assume @Cal7B pays more for a membership than me. Perhaps they should be sub groups Priority 1a, b & c to account for the pay scale of memberships. This week I'm not complaining. If we win @Cal7B I'll upgrade your Demonland Subscription to Lifetime Member free of charge. Remind me as I'm likely to forget but will honour it.
  10. I thought I would bring it up now just in case this great stat is moot. If we are really going to believe in jinxes then perhaps we need to call in an exorcist and exorcise our demons.
  11. Just in case ...
  12. You've got to feel for Joel Smith. Has spent more time in the medical room than 3/4 of the team combined. Can't see us retaining him.
  13. No idea. That has never happened to me. Since I worked out that you could physically click on the bay and secure those tickets I have not had an issue doing it that way. Previously I was selecting best available and got tickets in the Southern Stand which were actually quite good but my preference is in the N sections of the Olympic Stand.
  14. I'm usually N52 so I'm rapt. #sorry
  15. Cheese and wine just don't have the same taste and aroma at that altitude.
  16. I would assume that if you actually click on N52 it will give you those seats as long as there are seats available there.
  17. I'm N49. The Best seats in the house in my humble opinion.
  18. Managed to get Prime Position seating for the game. Much better than my regular seats. Perhaps these covid restrictions aren't so bad after all. Feels like a final. Bring on Saturday Night.
  19. Of the Top 20 players the Dees have 4 players. Melbourne 4 Bulldogs 3 Adelaide 2 GWS 2 Port Adelaide 2 Carlton 1 Collingwood 1 Essedon 1 Fremantle 1 Hawthorn 1 Richmond 1 West Coast 1 Brisbane 0 Geelong 0 Gold Coast 0 North 0 St. Kilda 0 Sydney 0
