If you want to start a thread about a potential trade target in or out of the Demons or any potential new draftees please post it in the Trading & Drafting in the Time of COVID board. All trade or draft related threads will be moved to the Trading & Drafting in the Time of COVID board.- Adam Treloar
That was my understanding too. Wants to stay at Collingwood. Wife's career in Queensland. Suns the best option in terms of trade value to the Pies. Could assist the Pies in terms of $$ available to others they need to lockdown. As a result of most of the above we are not even a consideration or in contention.- Another Tragedy for Jones

I get that point but given the current climate $100k to ship a piece of dirt for show is IMHO obscene.- Turf War
Thatβs costing $100K. How many people at the AFL have lost jobs this year? Itβs an insult to them and their families.- Neville Jetta

I don't want to play negative nancy and burst anyone's bubble but the article's content doesn't instill me with any confidence. "Adelaide has been in talks with Burgess about him joining from Melbourne, where he has spent the past 12 months, and he is keen to return to SA for family reasons. But he is contracted for another two seasons with the Demons and is expected to stay there." There is no new information here or a even a quote. It's just the author's conjecture based upon information that is already out there. We're not even 100% sure he is contracted for 2 more years. The initial reports of him coming to Melbourne only mentioned 1 year and the odd article here and there recently have mentioned this 2 more years. I'm not doubting the 2 more years but as we know contracts aren't worth anything these days and the "family reasons" can be a huge deal especially when it comes to breaking contracts. I'd put a cork in those champagne bottles and let the MFCSS flow through your veins.- Adam Saad
