  1. Not ground related but ... No Grundy for QB. https://twitter.com/Stevo7AFL/status/1399223809366839296?s=20
  2. No chance QB goes ahead at the MCG let alone with any crowds. I imagine we'll be back on the road for at least a month if not for the rest of the year.
  3. We usually go LIVE on a Tuesday but as a Lockdown Special we will be LIVE Tonight @ 8:30pm Listen & Chat LIVE: https://demonland.com/podcast Call: 03 9016 3666 Skype: Demonland31
  4. Not yet. I assume they’ll (AFL & Dees) try everything they can to get an exemption to FIFO for the game in Alice Springs and failing that play it at the SCG/Giants Stadium or Gabba/Metricon.
  5. There are other venues online for people to vent or have their voices heard.
  6. No benefits now that the Vics can't attend. I'm sure there are plenty of room available now if you want to fly to the NT this weekend.
  7. If we are given the option of SCG and the Gabba I would prefer to take the SCG. It might however become a purely financial decision given the loss of the 800K (Alice Springs) and likely $1 Mil (Queens Birthday). Taking the Gabba gate might just be a case of cutting our financial losses than playing in front of an empty SCG. I doubt the 100s of NSW Dees and those Lions that travel south would even come close to what we could make playing at the Gabba. It was earlier reported that Carlton were offered SCG or Optus Stadium next week to play West Coast and chose SCG. They didn't have the huge financial loss hanging over their heads and they are already in Sydney so why travel into the belly of the beast and play the Eagles on their flat track. They've understandably chosen the SCG. We have a big decision to make. I would at least try to get our next 2 games vs the Lions at the G. We hardly ever seem to play them there.
  8. Let's curb the politics blame game. Not necessarily directed at you but to everyone.
  9. FWIW Tom Browne says we're no chance to play in Alice Springs this week. Sydney the likely venue. Sydney will be a mini hub for a few teams next week.
  10. Buckleys of that happening. We're more likely to get the exemption to play in NT than Brisbane is to FIFO to Melboure or even us to FIFO of QLD. Only way Vic teams will be able to go to QLD will be to hub in NSW for 2 weeks. Surprised Collingwood are half a chance to FIFO of Adelaide next week.
  11. I have not seen that put forward and I doubt it would be an option. Even less so if we were forced to play as a fly in fly out.
  12. Confirmed or just put forward as a possible location?

  15. Melbourne will lose $800,000 from the NT Government if it loses its Alice Springs clash and $1 million-plus if the Queen’s Birthday clash at the MCG in Round 13 is relocated. Demons CEO Gary Pert said on Saturday the alternative was playing in Sydney or Queensland on Friday night. “At this stage it’s more likely to be interstate,” Pert said of the clash, which could cost the Demons $800,000 if not played under a NT sponsorship arrangement.
  16. Not that simple. The players don't live alone. They have wives, children, partners, family and housemates that can't be controlled nor tested regularly. Sure for the moment we're all lockeddown but they're not in "isolation".
