Thought we were playing a kid from Casey when I saw Number 50 warming up.
-
Boys warming up. Lever doesn’t look hampered by his ankle. Running nicely.
-
An hour to go and the Casey overflow carpark is filling up.

Rivers has been named in the back pocket. Dunstan is still recovering from a hamstring injury in one of our last intra-club match sims before the practice matches started. Tomlinson was playing for Casey last week and I assume he’ll play for them again today. Joel Smith also just resumed training in a limited capacity just before the match sims. Did he play for Casey last week against the Saints? If so he’ll likely play again this week. Otherwise I expect he’ll be a week or two away from returning via Casey.

The Demons take on the Tigers in their final hit out before the start of the 2023 Premiership Season in 2 weeks. The match will be played at Casey Fields and begins at 4:10pm. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy & and streamed on Kayo Sports.

Eagles in a bit of trouble. Maybe they should have gone harder for Jackson.

I know it's a practice match and I have no idea who is missing from both St. Kilda or Essendon but neither team is impressing me.
-
Bombers 3.14 with 12 minutes to go in the match. Yikes.
-
He's recovering from a Hamstring injury. I don't know the timeframe for his return but he might be pushing it for Round 1 as well.

I did the stadium tour before the Freo game last season. I think I might have to make a yearly pilgrimage to the holy land.

Tickets secured. See you at the Demon's most sacred of sites.

A scare went through the Demon's camp at training when Jack Viney went down with a suspected knee injury. He immediately left the track and was taken for scans to assess the damage, if any, to his knee. On the eve of the 2023 Season Melbourne Football Club General Manager of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson allayed every Demon fans worst fears stating that that the scans revealed that "there isn't any significant damage to his knee". “We will have a better idea of his rehabilitation progress over the next week. While he will miss this weekend’s practice match against Richmond, we don’t anticipate him to be further impacted ahead of the season.” The club, through it's website, confirms that the 28 year old will be on "light duties" until he is fit to resume full training. With just 16 days remaining until the Demon's Round 1 encounter with recent rival the Western Bulldogs the clock is certainly ticking and Demon fans will be hoping that Jack will take the field in the season opener. A number of players are ready to fill the giant sized hole left in the middle in Viney's absence with Tom Sparrow ready to jump into the breach after returning from the break super fit and training the house down over the preseason according to all report from Demonland's trackwatchers. Angus Brayshaw might also need to be pulled from defence duties. James Jordon could be recalled from Casey to replace the injured Vice Captain.

Normally I would sit there but I think I might enjoy sitting amongst he rank and file Eagles supporters. Might be nice to remind them about how many premierships we've won on their home ground.
-
Thank you. I must have had some type of ESP looking for tickets today.
-
Doesn't help those wanting to plan. I wonder when General Admin goes on sale.
-
Cheers and thanks for the clarification. There won't be many seats left for Dees fans. It's a lot easier to get good seats at Dockers games.

Looks like the membership website now has a 2023 Membership figure. 48,060

Does anybody know how you can purchase a ticket for the Demon's Round 4 match against the Eagles in Perth? The ticketmaster website has plenty of Seats available but you need a code to unlock it. Demon's membership numbers, Demons barcode numbers any number I have associated with my membership cannot unlock a single ticket that is available on that website. I am not a luddite and I have never had any problem securing tickets for any interstate venue including this one. Surely an opposition supporter can get a ticket for this match. Does anybody have any information that can help me here?
