  1. If we want to win the flag we need to beat teams like that anyway (hopefully at the G too). Can't expect to win a flag if we can't beat the top teams at home and can't rely on an easy run in to finals when you are a successful team that gets dealt harder draws.
  2. It's my heroin. I know it's bad for me but it feels like a warm blanket.

  4. Another Match of the Round for the Demons
  5. I wanted to start these threads during the week in case people wanted to discuss the other games in the upcoming rounds so I created my own graphic based on the AFL’s one. Because the AFL only release their nice graphic on the morning of the first game I make my own and in this case I mistakenly kept the Dees logo in the Thursday night away spot. Luckily the AFL released theirs and I have replaced it.
  6. In his last 2 games Lachie Neale has sat out the match with a massive bag of ice on his ankle. Having said that he got 35 and 27 possessions in those games.
  7. For those keeping score of the toss
  8. It's Game Day & Demons have a great opportunity to win their fifth game on the trot and go into the bye with 5 wins and one loss when they take on the Brisbane Lions at the MCG on the Thursday night big stage.
  9. Thought he had a great game against the Bulldogs in Casey's last game after our Port game.
  10. Dude I was just looking up that exact same thing. I remember planning a trip in 2014 when we played Port. We wanted to do Alice Springs with a side trip to Uluru. My eldest was 6 and I thought it would be easier to fly than to drive or bus the 5 or 6 hours albeit more expensive and I'm positive there were flights between Alice and Uluru. We didn't end up going so my memory is only of the planning of the trip but I was sure that there were flights. Turns out there aren't anymore and if you want to fly from Uluru to Alice or vice versa you have to fly to Sydney, Brisbane or Cairns and it will take 23 hours with 2 stops. Crazy.
