CC is as dedicated to our cause as ANYONE. Even all the anonymous internet heroes on this site!

I was fortunate enough to hear him speak at a function tonight. He spoke for a good ten minutes and I got a STRONG feeling he is 110% dedicated to sending us back where we belong.

He is a great appointment to our club and a great right hand man for Bailey.

From what I've heard tonight Bailey isn't nervous at all and believes in the road we are going down 110%. Give him some time and just accept our position at the moment. We won't be there forever let me assure you of that.

Now is the time to stick fat and support the club. All the Bailey knockers will eat their words - I have no doubt of that.

I hope that road isn't the Hume Highway, and we end up in West Sydney.

And if Bailey has the full support of the board, he's in trouble.

Perspective :

You employ a Builder to put together that wonderful house youve always wanted. You know the ground's a bit shakey and much is necessary before you really get stuck into it. Lots of prelimanry works etc..

So you want to sack the builder when he's only half way though demolishing the 'shack" that sits upon your lot ?? <_<;)

I just have this feeling he has a team of sparkies, and he's trying to turn them into plumbers. They hear what he says, they just can't do it.

All we need is Gardners "full support" and we know he's done. :o:o

Heard him speak, ay? Whereabouts? Don't tell me...I love surprises - anyway, I bet you ordered the double parma for $19.90. Not bad for a Monday night. Tell me, did the kids eat for free???

What the hell did you expect him to say??? That we're shot to pieces and have no hope this year? Even Cam Bruce assures us that we can the finals - Maybe HE should borrow by Kubrick collection, seasons 1, 2 and 3!!

I hope we don't have to wait another 10 years for the re-building of this team to begin.

PS Kramer? - these pretzels are making me thirsty.

belzebub59 - I don't want to misquote CC but he did mention the amount of young talent on our list, and the fact that our older guys are guiding them very well. He mentioned that we are in a new era now and the need to stick with the club. CC is a fantastic addition to our club and has real passion.

All the heroes on this site can slag off our greats like Neitz (300+ games) and Yze (250+ games) but these guys are leading the way and the spirit amongst the boys seems fantastic. I get the strong feeling that once we click with Bailey we be very strong again. He believes in what he is doing and his vision must be encouraging for the players.

Don't forget that although we haven't won a flag, only a few teams have been in the finals more than us in the past 10-15 years or so. I know you (belzeu59) will stick fat but I worry about some of the other battlers on this site who don't realise that we are a real football club with real people doing their bloody best to turns things around.

Our new CEO needs to be given a chance. Get behind the club, we need fairweather supporters to become real supporters.

Anyone posting on this site who hasn't purchased a membership yet is more gutless than the players they slag off. Those who do this know who they are. Get to the G on Sunday as I know those involved with the club will be busting their balls to beat Carlton. FACT.

Thanks H.. Will be watching this game with a lot of interest. I agree and think CC is a marvellous adition to the club.. indeed I think there is much in place that warrants real optimism..just not much will manifest overnight.

I think its great that the stawlwarts are geeing the kids up. Just concerns me they arent doing themsleves much justice on the turf.

We'd all like result today..or at latest tomorow.. many just dont get it that it will be years rather than weeks until it all "clicks"..well at least Clicks properly.

Im sure some want Bails to crack it.. to give a public lashing ...but really thats the last thing we want.. the coach to show anything but resolute steadfastness.

we're in the middle of a "quiet storm"... and we need to ride it out.

Am lookign forward to the Blues.. am looking forward to what ever he has planned for /after round 6.. am lookign forward to an end of season rejig.. ...just no so enthralled about a lot of in between !!

The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
