If Hall is the boxer people say he is then his left and right probably aren't as far apart as you are making it out to be

The left hits harder (if his right handed) because the left would have less control. FACT!

A king hit is where an un-suspecting victim is hit from behind. This didn't happen in this case.

Hall over re-acted to the niggling and belted him - that's not a king hit.

I am not saying he should have done it either - stupid act on Bazz's behalf.

Moose

King hit is any unprovoked or unsuspecting attack - which is exactly what this was.

Doesn't have to hit him from behind to be a king hit

Righto, give him 11 weeks for 110%.

I'll let you into a secret - it's all getting a bit technical with boxing experts weighing in, but I just want his case delayed until after his hand heals so that the [censored] serves time when it matters - not when it's concurrent with an injury.

I'd say around the half dozen

i rekon 7

+ he's out n e way

he punched a few more things afterwards and he ended up bracking his wrist lol

6 to 8 would be my guess.....

I was not too far away from that at the game last night, and it was awful to watch, and the crowd actually booed him.

Which for a Sydney crowd to boo Barry Hall, I thought I saw pigs flying backwards!!!

At least the ground got its own back when he clonked and opened up his head on the polls around the edge.

After watching it about 20 times on YouTube, I reckon he is looking at minimum 8 weeks!

The AFL does not want these sorts of images being seen anymore!

Young kids you want to grow up and play footy don't want to see this (altho they will cop it in the suburban based comps), but it is more the parents of the young lads who, after seeing stupid [censored] like that, stop their sons from playing footy!

The AFL will slam Hall for this!

They are already worried that soccer is taking off..... This will be a massive suspension!

In fact I have even convinced myself it will be 10+ weeks now!

He doesn't get the name "Big Bad Barry" for nothing!

Totally agree with everything you've written here. I tried to compose something like this last night but was too shocked by what I'd seen to be able to think straight. I reckon the AFL will rightfully make an example out of this.

And to Moose who thinks the "biff" should be brought back to footy, why don't you go and watch some Saturday Amateur crap where that [censored]'s the norm. Leave the AFL to the best and FAIREST players in the land.

I'm with you. Although one cost Miller 2 or 3 from memory in 2006. He was in form too and never really recovered after coming back through the two's.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but Miller's been booked again for 'alleged rough conduct' against Daniel Pratt.

I reckon he might actually get done for a week with his record, which is annoying cos I think he's playing alright at the moment.

Thoughts? On the bump, not on Miller's form. :)

I rekon he'll get more then 10.

3. No remorse.

Held a press conference admitting his guilt and stupidity.

You claim to work in the media dont you?

A regular stupid act of misguided aggression that he has done before and it will cost him about 2 weeks.

Makes you wonder about those posters who say Miller should be more aggressive. Pity he cant distinguish the player from the ball

Hall will be out for 6 weeks with a broken wrist so really he should get 16 weeks or he will get away it. The more appropriate sentence would be for the AFL to force the Swans to delist him and have us pick him up in the PSD that will teach him to be stupid.

damn he got 7!!! cant believe it i wanted 6 so we could see him return vs eagles!!! you guys think swans can go 50-50 while hall is out and still make the 8 or even top 4 once hes back??

that 1.90 for +4.5 weeks was easy money a lock pity i dont have an account with them arghhhhhhhh!!

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
