Interesting interview with Paul Johnson on melbournefc.com.au

At the bottom, he stated that 'we've tried to focus on our clubs core values, 'hunger, discipline and unity'

Has anyone seen any of this so far this season? Anyone?

btw, I reckon PJ has been super this season.

I am seeing alot of players struggling with what it requires and I am seeing players who are embellishing it.

The principles must be exhibited by every member of the side without exception for those principles to be effective.

btw, I reckon PJ has been super this season.

Isn't PJ leading Demonland's Best & Fairest

Nar seriously, PJ has been one of our bright sparks so far. Hopefully this is the year he steps up to become a dangerous ruck/forward.

PJ has been one positive this year so far and i really hope he stay injury free and continues to develop into a nice playa for us as White i think may get used in other positions

btw, I reckon PJ has been super this season.

I've seen him dive for smothers, chase, and put in second efforts.

It looks like he's trying to embody the values, at least on the field.

And yet Garry Lyon gave him the 3 "worst" votes on the weekend

Terrible call!

He's been one of our best so far. I've been saying for a while that he'll be a great pick-up. Then again, anything is better then Jamar.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
