He speaks so well.

Really really thrilled to hear that we're getting more support and development staff around the place. He said we'll have 2 development coaches next year, and I think this year we had none.

Also said that we're looking, over the next 3 years, to bring a group of young players together. So quite clearly, we are not in a premiership mode.

I thought it was quite instructive that he told a tale from his early days at Freo that convinced him about ALWAYS taking the best player available in the draft.

Dont worry about filling holes or worrying about players going home.

Hmm. He was there when we recruited Luke Molan, maybe he was outvoted at the time.

He wasn't outvoted - drafting doesn't go to a vote. He was vetoed. Big difference. I'll never blame CAC for Molan.

Ditto... I didn't know Daniher vetoed CAC.

Also can somebody summarise what CAC said? I'd be keen to hear, from the horses mouth, what approach we're taking into the draft and 08.

The one ond only time that the previous coach overruled his decsion.

That's news to me. I know they did on one player we drafted but it wasn't Molan.
