if you search for dean bailey using the boards search feature, you will probably find a thread where this has already been discussed. maybe you could do that, and add your thoughts to a current thread, instead of contributing nothing in a new thread.

Lighten up deanox, I'm too scared to post lest I attract further wrath

FWIW, how can the Bailey decision be judged at this point. Maybe we should see if he can coach first. Isn't that what we hired him for?

No they don't. However, most people do know how to spell.

deanox dont be a forum bully you look like a loser!

after trade week i will have learnt a bit more about him, not good start by the way the club has treated johnstone and carrol by singling them out!

Very difficult to make a call of Right or Wrong call on Baileys appointment so early on....

But what I can say is this:

I have been impressed by his Media work

I have been impressed by his apparent hard line stance on 'Passengers'

I have been impressed by him having the guts to throw Carrol and Johnstone out as bait

Ticks in all boxes available for ticking so far...

But the proof will be in on field performance; game plan, brand of football, and how hard the players work for each other...

Until then, the jury is still out.

im not being a bully, its common sense. its actually pretty standard forum etiquette to use the search function first, and not start double threads. this thread especially brought nothing to the discussion. demonologists among us would call this 'grandstanding'. you dont need to start a thread for the sake of it, it is a waste of space and stifles the other discussion.

consider reading this:

http://demonland.nozzs.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=15

this is listed as 'demonland code of conduct : read this before posting.'

2 of the first 3 points are:

-Make use of the search function to avoid repeat topics

-Avoid meaningless one word topics or posts

unfortunately this thread avoided both of those guidelines.

if you have read any of gothedemons other threads you would quickly realise that he/she has broken rule 2 as well as rule 1 and 3 by slagging off posters unprovoked already.

demon jim, dont be scared to post. if you have something meaningful to add to the discussion, or have a legitiment new idea or discussion to post, post it. ppl will debate the merits of your post, thats what a forum is. but this thread serves no purpose but to add to gothedemons post count.

instead of turning on your like minded fellow supporters over NOTHING, why dont you use your time and space provided to suggest and advise with a bit of class !! instead of spewing nasty and tacky, let alone childish vitriol to your own..!!

if someone makes a slight error of judgement or trivial "spellinpb" mistake dont resort to rediculous insults.

it acheives nought except carrying forth degrading self esteem to a supporter who is supposed to be on your side.

try and unify instead of alienate..

Leave the pig ignorant comments to commonwood or other supporters..

no prob not. and if you read my first post again i was actually polite in telling you what you should've done. in fact read either of my posts in this thread and i havnt attacked you, or anyone else, i havn't been sarcastic and i havnt slagged anyone off. the closest thing ive said that could be construed as negative was from my initial post

maybe you could do that, and add your thoughts to a current thread, instead of contributing nothing in a new thread.

but when you realise that you initial post in this thread did in fact contribute nothing you would realise that my words were merely stating the truth.

and yes i have realised you were new to the site. i hope you have some good things to say and add to discussions in the future.

gothedemons, just for future reference it would be helpful if you put some actual content in the first post and give people something to start off/comment on. Also, there's a thread stuck on the top of the board giving tips on how to avoid conflict such as this.

As for Bailey, although he still has alot to prove, I think he's so far had a good start as the 1 problem that Neale had was that he got along too well with the players whereas Bailey is trying to make them earn his respect.

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
