Based on what it seems that other clubs were apparently prepared to give for Judd, Carlton's offer is not enough and WCE's ask is too much. They'll find a middle ground because Judd's currency with other clubs has dropped since he announced Carlton as his preference.

paul Bower?? Would he even crack the WCE side? I doubt it. WHy is his name on the table, he has little to no worth on the trade table. If Kennedys name is in talks, he is GONE for sure.

Picks 3, 20, Kennedy and another player will get the deal done, but It wont be Paul Bower, it will be a better player. Waite, Bentick maybe?

Unfortunately, the good old Mexican standoff will only end with Dick Pratt blowing Trevor Nisbett's brains out in front of the MC Labour Park Corral. If West Coast don't like Carlton's offer of pick 3, Josh Kennedy and a signed Adrian Hickmott lithograph, Judas can put a $2M price tag on his head and enter the pre-season draft, where he'll be too steep for Richmond and head straight into Scrooge McDuck's money vault.

I hope that happens and he plays put his time at richmond. i really do.

Carlton; what an off-season. Judd and No. 1. BS!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
