If you're not a Melbourne Football Club member, take that fire in your belly and buy a membership today.

A line has been drawn in the sand and it's time for the barrackers to become supporters.

Spread the word.... sign up.

I agree

If you arent a member, you better bloody become one

If not, then %#*$ off

Agreed. Stop being that stereotype, passive Melbourne supporter. Stop being the mate who says he goes for Melbourne, but ultimately doesn't give a damn.

correct weight

yep, i only consider members of a footy team to be supporters.

Those who aren't members of the footy club, are just fans. And we have a lot of those.

I know a family that got rid or all of their MCC memberships and bought MFC ones. AND not the little $50 ones either (however that is a good start). We should have 40,000 members. If you can afford an MCC membership, you can afford an MFC membership. support dean and the boys

We have one more signing up next year from this household! That is 5 MFC members here and one St Kilda one but I refuse to let him buy our kids STKFC memberships - see the blokes don't always get their own way with who their kids support! I dug my heels in and refused to budge (there is also a bit of bribery on my part like buying jumpers, stickers, player badges - whatever it takes to keep them Demons!)

keep up the good work, you should run for CEO

I'm going to have to convince my mum to sign up next year. If not, I'll buy one for her.

Same for a friend of mine. He asks how the Dees are going every weekend, claiming to be a supporter, so I semi-convinced him to sign up... finally. If he doesn't go ahead with it, I'll get one for him.

It might have somthing to do with our 150th looming, but I'm so keen to get everyone on board. My Rabbit is even chipping in, well... I am on his behalf. Hopefully I can find a Demons jumper small enough for him next year.

can anyone post a link to the relevant online sign-up page?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
