Got another recruit for us. Looks like we could use a couple more at this stage. One of my brother's mates, Evan. He's a bit of a gun amateur player and a freak of an athlete. 17 goals and a couple of best on grounds in the midfield for Old Ivanhoe this season. He's got a massive tank and could probably run all day if he wanted. Should be able to make it tomorrow.

Thanks Diablo...I've added Evan to Interchange. We could do with his fresh legs at some stage.

The team line-up is now final see several posts above these....we have a full team with a few interchange....hopefully we will get a few turn out that won't be afraid to put on a jumper and help fly the flag for Demonland....

I have also named a couple beside me in the Leadership Group.... Congratulations COXY and DIABLO..... ;)

I will most likely not be online tonight or tomorrow so I guess this is it....see you all there tomorrow! Get some rest tonight and be ready for another Dees victory!

Rollo, you might want to post a reminder on here as to what to bring ie: sunscreen, mouthguards, water bottles, MFC guernsey, shorts {pref blue...}......etc etc...

Thanks for the pics, but that's deadset one of the patchiest grounds I've ever seen, is it still used for other sports?

While I was there they had some sort of soccer training going on, don't think any other sports would be played there though....

It was pretty average looking ground conditions...

Looks like we might need him. My daft brother and his equally daft mate are going to be doing some test for uni which they have forgotten about, and so might be running late. I've berated Matt, so he'll still put in an appearance, but they might not be there till quarter time or so. Still, looks like we have a full team, so it's all good baby.

Yeah he's at Deakin, where they have a rather large penchant for online tests. The annoying thing is that he could have, and should have, done it either yesterday or Friday.

And yes, no-shows will be bricked.

2 hours til the bounce....

Am looking forward to it...

Don't worry about the heat too much guys. We will be looked after by the guys bringing mass water.

We'll be alright.

Am leaving in 45 minutes, if anyone wants score updates PM me your number...

I'd love to see a player out on the ground sending an SMS while waiting for a kick

Hopefully someone is bringing a camera again... those of us who can't be there want action shots!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
