Alternate Jumper?

Featured Replies

Collingwood and Essendon are being petulant and self serving.

Exactly.

On the WCE v Dogs game, the Herald Sun have reported that the eagles could face a fine of up to $110k for wearing the wrong jumpers and that Melbourne got a $10k suspended fine for having the wrong shorts against Brisbane.

we are the team of the red and the blue, not all reds

Why don't me make our away jumper or clash jumber as the reverse of our normal jumber.

Red body with the blue Triangle.

It wouldnt clash

I stand corrected. The club called me yesterday to say that the jumper was a directive from the AFL and we can do little about it.

I still cant see how WC played in their jumper V the Bullies and Collingwood and Geelong.

Cmon Dees give me something to hang my hat on this year.

West Coast, like Melbourne a few weeks back, forgot to bring the right jumpers.

They will be fined $10,000 by the AFL.

Isn't that what Rhino said?

You cant always believe everything you read.

I did see Rhino's mention of the directive.

Good to see another member on Demonland.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
