I've updated my first post to point out where to download it. But I think Nasher may host the video which would be a lot better.

Oh and thanks for the feedback mate, glad you enjoyed it as I had a lot of fun making it! Although, it kind makes you sad thinking how well we played against collingwood compared to the crap we served up against richmond... <_<

i know its suggested by CB in the other thread but for those of us who have slower downlaod speeds or limits on our downloads for the month you sure you couldnt make a one off smaller compressed version for us? lol

Even with a decent connection it took me a while to download.

Plus, by putting it on YouTube, more people can see it!

It's a very good video anyway.

Well done.

Added a youtube link, has lost a lot of quality though...

Great video Madness.......

Fantastic production, and a worth while reminder of one of our better days for this season.

The effort is greatly appreciated :D !!!

Brilliant work!

I was tempted to look at it during class, but thank god I waited till I got home, because I literally laughed out loud when the credits came on ;)

Well done. Hopefully we win plenty of games next year and you can create more of these videos.

A B S O L U T E ..................

G O L D!!!!!

Thanks mate - that has bought joy to my sad little Demon loving heart!

Cheers.

Fantastic.

Robbo's 7 is my highlight of this sorry season thus far

Ah very nice.

Love the Cloke bit at the start.

Pure Gold - Well Done

I can honestly say that is the only day I have enjoyed @ the footy in 2007.

The Adelaide & Carlton victories haven't come close.

I've been abroad all year, and regrettably, this is the FIRST bit of Demon's footage I've managed to see all season.

Watching Jones' and particularly Sylvia take on the opposition point to a bright future in an otherwise dull season. Bate seems to be going okay as well...

Cheers madness, you've made my night.

That is pure GOLD champ!!

Watching Cloke miss that goal = $100

Watching Sylvia evade, kick to Bate, running goal from 50m = $1000

Watching Joffa go off his nut at the umpires and then the highlights of Robbo getting away with one = PRICELESS

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the kind word, i'm flattered. ^_^

What did you guys think of the flash sinking to the music and the goal, the zooming in of the scoreboard to the next clip etc.? These effects took a fair while to get down properly so I hope you liked them! :)

What a video!!!

Madnes, you are a legend!!

and what about Sylvia

1) That crazy burst of speed on the wing where he turned that Magpie player inside out

2) The greatest 'dont argue' in the history of the AFL/VFL. Threw the guy off with one arm. Talk about brute strength

Scintillating stuff from The Kid, I have watched both things about 10 times!!!

HAHAHAHA gold.

Push It, I love that.

I'd love to see someone make a similar video just of hands in the back decisions to the same music, to show it's more than the one a game KB claims it is.

Magnificent.

Colin Sylvia's bawk on the wing and the blind turns by Jones and McLean were just magic.

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons have the Bye next week but then are on the road once again when they come up against the Gold Coast Suns on the Gold Coast in what could be a last ditch effort to salvage their season. Who comes in and who comes out?

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
