They're not going to tell the Irish clubs until the AFL paperwork is done in case the Irish clubs convince the players to not leave Ireland (although it's all amateur isn't it so it's not like they can up their pay)

    They have a case. I can see some clearance fees or similar being requested. Problem is unlike soccer they are different codes so no central body.
