Kicking Help

Featured Replies

i know its a different league, but to help wih the poor kicking of some of our players, eg Bruce, i say bring in Andrew Johns, sure he isnt in AFL but he worked wih the Wallabies as well ,and now there kicking won them game vs NewZealand, im sure a guy like that could help us

thats different mate. in rugby they dont run 40 meters and hit a player lace out, they dont chip the ball around. and mostly they hold the ball different because they are taught like that.

no thanks!

BIG RED SIGNING IN:

It was interesting in the Pies v Hawks game to watch an Irish kid who had not touched a footy 12 months ago kick 3 from 3 from set shots with a very deliberate very consistent Gaelic Footballesque kicking technique.. Is there something to learn from that?

Perhaps he should try to get his hands on one of those old Daicos Kits with the footy that had hands printed on it and came with a video tape. Still hasn't chucked the blue boots either. Anything's worth a go.
