Jarrod Wade?

...who used to look a bit like 'you' Ethan? Could be him, but a bit of weight and facial hair loss has been achieved:

Absolutely tone deaf clueless thread

Agree.

Please Jimbo read Angus’s lips and public speeches over nearly exactly 18 mths are clear and consistent.

Take notice of them.

Now you're interpreting Angus' wishes for him & telling us what he wants.

Really reaching new levels of tone deafness.

You Cranky are notably deaf but Dumb as well.

FYI Angus agreed to a role early in 2024 to being a bench type assistant on game day but found after about 2 weeks he was not able to handle the role and was not keen and not  seen again.

the second indication of Angus not wishing to be involved was after his magnificent speech at the 2024 BNF night when he spoke and indicated he would not be around the Club in “his own way” at the end of his speech.

If I am wrong on this then I apologise to Angus but I totally believe this is the correct Angus situation as of now ( and at end of 2024)

So please don’t accuse me of being deaf and making up plans for Angus to not be seen around the Club.

His speech on behalf of the Retirees at the AFL Brownlow as another opportunity to show his hand also resulted in a comment that he is uncertain about his future and could still be vague for a while yet.

At the risk of typecasting Angus I feel that he has undoubtedly involved his 2 other loves in life ie a game of golf and of course his recent marriage to his sweetheart Danielle Frawley which is fact in case you have been away or on a sabbatical since late last year, but alas you have still posted your very forthright or quirky opinions of recent dates.

Happy for you to check my post for accuracy but No true Demon fan would ever be in doubt what our Former No 10 great thought or said.

My overlying memory of Gus will be the privilege of seeing him play in the GF at Optus Oval, and seated on the outer wing which I saw close at hand how he so magnificently kept us in the game with that heroic third quarter.

We have been very lucky with our wingers over the years I have followed the Dees starting with Bluey Adams, Brian Dickson, Stan Alves, the great Robbie Flower,Stephan Tingay, Lingers and now The Duke if he doesn’t go to the backline ( or centre position as I believe he should. )

However that third quarter that greatly helped our magnificent Flag win in 2021 when the game was in dispute by Angus tops my memory above all those greats of the past or potentially the future as a vital team contribution in winning a game.

I am 76 now but value Angus’s career as a most valuable one in our rise to the top and are so sad that  bad luck and a mongrel act has robbed us of our no 10 for his footy and his club and team ethos and spirit which was hard to replace last year.

As with all of us we would like Angus to be back in the fold but we must respect his wishes and in time this may happen.

Lets cherish his memories and not embarrass him when IMO he has unmistakably stated his position at this early stage of his  retirement.

A bizarre response - thanks for the history of Dees wingmen.

The point I am making is that given what happened with Angus it is inappropriate for anyone to be commenting or second guessing what Angus is thinking or planning or what he may or may not do.

These are private matters for Angus to decide on.
