West Coke Eagles vs Melbourne Demons

We could have traded White a few seasons ago, like i said we should have, when he had some value. Overrated bigtime!

Bruce should never be anywhere near a centre bounce, he gets thrown around like a ragdoll against a tough, strong team like the weagles.

Ward, Brown and Miller need to be banished to Sandy for a long, long time.

Good on you YM. Well thought out quality comments as usual. Let's get rid of all our best players.

You're an ignorant fool. Get losed. Green is one of our best players? Bruce is good, but hardly the leader he is made out to be. I'd rather have Godfrey on our leadership group than him. He never stands up when we need him. All of his most memorable games are against poor opposition like Hawthorn and the Kangaroos over the past few years. When does he ever get us over the line ???

jumping on the western bulldogs for the rest of the year...

Same. Don't think I've met anyone that hates that team...

Yeah I've got some more ignorant fool ideas. Let's trade McLean. Hasn't done a thing since round 1. And Rivers too. Not putting in. And Dunn. What an ordinary game. Can't stand the heat when the pressure is on. And Sylvia. how could he drop that mark in the 1st. Disgraceful. I think you can get my drift.

Does any1 play for the MFC jumper anymore???

lol. McLean and Rivers have been injured. Dunn has hardly had a chance to prove himself. Sylvia has had a bumpy start to his career. None of those players have had what you'd call consistent careers because of injuries. Bruce, TJ and Green all are regular starters. They are all touted as our best, but never get us over the line. Dunn almost won us the game against Port. Sylvia against the doggies. McLean is a superstar and Rivers holds our backline together. Think before you talk. And please, don't compare McLean to Bruce. I'd feed Bruce to the wolves if it meant McLean being touted as our best player, which is what Bruce is frequently and undeservenly touted as.

Why would anyone when you get a pay cheque at the end of it. Do you work for your company or for a living? Derrrrrrrrrrrr!

finally a couple of goals

great to hear the great play by petterd, bell and sylvia

Doing a bit better at the moment

LOL. i actually work for myself.. There having a crack the lads

It's complete madness to say anything even remotely like "at least we have Richmond in July". They will probably win one game for the year and it's a stone certainty that win will be against Melbourne. We are utter rubbish. If we were even remotely good we would have beaten Port who we always beat in Melbourne and who were off their game two weeks ago. We should have beaten the Bullies who we regularly beat but who did enough to get over us. Now we play a proper side, one that is a dead set contender for the flag, and we are getting spanked like a red-headed step child. It's embarrassing. (But at least it's instructive.)

And to put the cherry on top, we make their big namers look good. Motlop chokes against St Kilda, but wins it for Port against us. Typical. Aker hasn't had a kick all year, but nails us with a big last quarter. Typical. Lynch kicked one point last week against Gee-Long, this week the only reason he won't kick a league record (Carroll, who is having a disasterous year, falls over every time they go near the ball) is because he leaves his kicking boot in his glove when he chucks it to the ground. Typical. All this play-them-back-into-form strategy needs is a name: let's call it the McKernan Technique.

Welcome to AFL footy Colin Sylvia!

How good does he look when he gets the ball. Seriously. Our next leading foward.

Eeeek. Bruce. No effort. He looked bad there.

our defense is losing it

Frawley to debut next week.

No Rivers, no backline.

Put Miller in defence! He's had 4 touches so far up forward.

All our work has come undone, great

Its a shame his moronic teammates dont realise how good he is

If bigheads like Bruce would pass it to him, he will tear a game apart

Sylvia > Bruce

If Miller isnt droped next week and juice In.... im gana protest!!!!! He hasnt had a kicked!!!!!!!!!!

Eeeek. Bruce. No effort. He looked bad there.

You are surprised by this?

He just got a 3 year contract, he doesnt have to give an effort

Good on you mate. I think you really caught the drift of my post.

Do any of those clowns in our coaches box show any emotion whatsoever besides (please leave now Daniher)

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
