Glad to see some serious lateral thinkig down at Jolimont :-))

Soy with that ??

Membership wont be a problem soon.. 1Million by 2020...lol.. well who knows..lol ...theres a lot of them !!

Might prove quite a coup with the local Chinese...great effort MFC !!

There's a half-a-dozen footy clubs over in Japan (and yes, I do mean footy... REAL footy. The kind where the ONLY way to score a goal is with your foot).

If someone were to get them organised, it could make a small difference. And for some of the Japanese people, a membership is pocket-change...

TELEVISING the game, and getting it watched over there like baseball... now THAT would change the face of Aussie rules forever.

good call, i think japan is just as feasable as china, indeed the whole region could be very beneficial to our club.

btw what's going on with the ac milan tie with us? if they win champs league do we get any dosh?

Yeh, I think the club should be congratulated (or congraturated!!! LOL) for this initiative. We have the name of the city, and out of 1 billion people, I think this is an exciting idea.

The only way to score a goal in all codes of "football" is with your foot........

no its not. in soccer you can head, chest or even 'back' it in. in fact, a rushed score is a goal as well in socer. in 'foot' ball, you can only score by kicking the ball through. DD has a very valid point...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
