After maxie's goal (should be credited to JvR for blocking the replay) I noticed again how nibbler was the one giving instructions to the other forwards. This time to maxie who listened and seemed to follow.

I noticed it first in the GF where he was the one to call the forwards in for a chat after goals.

Is he a coach in waiting and is he following goody's instructions?

    Nibbler is in the overall team leadership group so good chance he takes significant on-field leadership of the forwards. And as is any successful player who's isn't dripping with raw talent, but rather has to work extremely hard to make it, he definitely has a future in coaching if he wants it. 

    He would very quickly get caught out if he wasn't following Goody's instructions.

    Possibly; the other ones who have caught my eye is Lever and Spargo
