Really worried about this one. Not overly confident because at the end of the day it's Richmond. They've won't 3 premierships in this era and still have high quality premiership players running around.

I hope that the fact that we also have high quality premiership players running around eases your worry. :)

A big if. And if they do, who is kicking the sausage rolls?

Fritta 3, Kozzie 3  Max 2, Petracca 2, Oliver 1, ANB 1, JvR 1, Viney 1.

Morale of the story is this isn't a walk in the park as some think.

Some still haven't learnt their lesson for thinking the same against Essendon I see..

Great teams still lose matches throughout the season.

We have travelled quite a bit, haven't had a settled side this year and our defensive chemistry was completely off for that game.
We ran into a red hot bombers who have had a bit of a dream run so far and who were traveling for the first time this year. The game was what it was.

It doesn't shake my confidence in a Melbourne side filled with the most premiership players i've seen in my life.

Wow, 1 goal from a key forward, Geelong got 10 this round!

Agreed, I had some concerns heading into the bombers game and nothing is a given in this competition.

Dees by 12 goals.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
