Things didn't look great on here at times during the Jones-Viney co-captaincy.

I thought about that, I was here for it, and while the forum could be feral, i don’t remember the opinion as being universal, just very vocal and at times uncouth. Is funny i logged on yesterday expecting near 100% happiness for the 1st time of all posters (barring the GF), we got about 98% positive.

I agree btw on next captain,  I’d put money on Hugh getting the gig, consistent with effort and tackles etc. Also he’s about the lone candidate.

Very happy with our stocks, I think any of Lever, Brayshaw, Petracca, Viney could do the gig tomorrow, Long term Rivers, Petty, maybe Sparrow.

Fair play to Bears supporters - Read the Brissy board, 19-1 in favour of binning Zorko as Captain and pensioning him off next year, never seen such a negative sentiment by supporters to their own captain. Also just want to say Fagan is a super classy bloke, calling him an assistant does no one any credit, that team was a basket case and he turned it around in record time. He is humble and respectful.

Must agree, Fagan is classy, astute, articulate and knowledgeable. He communicates well and has achieved a great deal in a short timeframe with the Lions.

McCluggage screams captain material to me.

Zorko's a [censored]. I can't believe he's a captain of an AFL side.

McCluggage is a relatively soft outside winger with beautiful skills. I wouldn't want him as my captain. At least Neale can drive the team forward when he wins clearances and impose himself on the contest.

Yep. Neale is the only one I'd want if I was a Brisbane fan. Maybe Marcus Adams if they're looking at someone from left field? Just a guess though, I really know SFA about his leadership qualities.
