Anybody know if the Premiership cup will be in Perth for the Freo game?

It won't be as it's in Hobart on the 29th and 30th (so good for me).

It was on the Gold Coast for the Round 2 match against the Suns or is the GC considered an annex of Victoria?

You are kidding. Well I must have missed the communication from the club advising this. 😡

It was at a Queensland Demons function in the club across the road from Metricon Stadium.

What about us supporters who didn’t go to the Qld Dees function. Do you know if it’s coming back or is it a one off trip to Qld?

I have no idea. I don't know if the Qld function was organised by the club as an official club event. Gary Pert was the guest speaker and the cup was chaperoned there by officials of the club. Patrons of the function could have their photo with the beauty.

A fellow cheer squad member wants to settle an argument with her Cats friend about whether or not the Cup on their Cup Tour is the real thing. She posted this pic on our WhatsApp chat and naturally we all called BS on it. Of course, we’re all biased. Just as everyone on here is. But it highlights Kate’s decision to NOT keep our Cups (dents and all) under lock and key. Ours (Men’s 2021, Women’s and Casey’s 2022) are stilling “touring” and will be there at our next function. As Kate says, “they’re the People’s Cups.”
❤️💙

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
