The former Kangaroo was set to play suburban football this year until he was recruited in March’s supplemental player draft to fill a ruck need. He was close to a call up after working hard with the Casey Demons.

Date of Birth: 11 March, 1991
Height: 195cm
Weight: 97kg

Games CDFC 2021: 8
Goals CDFC 2021: 1

Before I get bombarded with 'He's never getting a game! Stop talking rubbish!', I'd like to see him play a few games in the seniors.

I get that he's not going to be an A grader or a regular selection. One part of it is sentimental and the other part pragmatic.

His story is an amazing one, and I'd love to see him overcome what has happened since the incident at the Bolte Bridge a few years ago.

Plus, having blokes like he and Mitch Brown getting an occasional game keeps them fresh in case long term injuries come up. Pedersen was great in that sense as well. He wasn't always first 22, but his presence there kept a mature head in the team, and a warning that someone hungry was always lurking in the wings.

Thanks for signing on Majak it is comforting to have a player of your calibre at the club and I also hope that you get the chance to represent us at the highest level. !!

You don't need to be a poet to get "Poetic Justice" Agree wholeheartedly, and he provides a really great team orientation and brevity to the playing group, where I have been told he is a very popular member. I expect him and Mitch Brown to play some games next year!

Just read Majak's autobiography. He's been through a lot. Not wishing any injuries to our key rucks but if Majak gets any game time for Melbourne this year it's well-deserved.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
