Melbourne down by 29 points at 3 qrt time...

if we dont put in a big effort this last qrt.... will say alot about our season.they have been weak... dropped marks... i dont care wat u say.... johnstone , davey green, CJ, jones ... u better lift ur game... because u have been crap!

Neale better go out there and tell those demons to win the last quarter.

No matter what happens in this last quarter Sylvia will get promoted next week.

Sylvia, newton, wornock, Buckley, Fergs, Garland and Weetra all in.

Neitz, davey, johnstone, robbo, wheatley out

brown has been our best so far

Brown and Miller to my supprise. This year we will come bottom 4 and i will justify later in a long report. Play our younger players and go for the priority picks.

Oh and that means so much doesent it

id rather lose by 22 points than get smashed by 10+ so it does mean alot

enough with the sour puss additute....

not the end of the world....

sylvia, pickett, yze, dunn .... maye its time too look foward to these inclusions.

davey , johnstone , green all still on their pre seaon break.... melb have alot more too show...

looking fowards to seenig bate jones back playin for sandy.... id take an unconnested possie from yze than a clanger kick from bate or jones

WHERE THE HELL IS DAVEY?

That was yelled at the TV quite a lot (by numerous people) in this house as well  !!!

Its hard to help when u expect melb to come top 4 and watching that sh**

Being sour cant be helped also when Vandemberg and Roughead dont play

i know... but atleast maybe we can take somthin out of that game... maybe our new fitness coachig is working... i dunno ... anything

I want blood damnit! Heads need to roll! How dare they spout all that top 4 propaganda and then deliver a performance of utter toilet. I'm let down, disillusioned, deceived and sick of ND's media rhetoric. 'That's something we've got to take a look at'. Here's a news flash Neale. You've had 10 years to take a look at it. Thanks for your input, now move on and lets' see if we can salvage a respectable team from this list.

the last quater was a improvement but when we got to 7 points wheatley fails to hit jamar on the wing whivh would have been another entry into the forward line and the hawks then got the momentum back

the frees were 7 to 1 in the forward 50 with hawks kicking 4 goals

to me the umpiring was awful! but it was also awful to the hawks, the problem i had with them was not the decisions they paid mostly (except that one against rivers!) but the ones they didnt pay for us, like the junior trip, franklin going to the ground wih the ball then handballing out of bounds etc etc

but worst of all was our discracefull use of the football

It just sucks knowing that when we are good our use of the football is supposidly brilliant. Today it was deplorable. I'm not positive, I'm not negative I honestly don't know what to think about Melbourne anymore.

i know... but atleast maybe we can take somthin out of that game... maybe our new fitness coachig is working... i dunno ... anything

This is what i take out of it. Vandemberg and Roughead out and we stink. We were kept in the game from poor kicking. I honestly find 0 positives and i mean that

We could say that we won the last quarter, but no team should put in a less than 100% effort in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and expect to come back from a long way behind.

We've tried it 2 weeks in a row and it doesn't work.

Our players simply have not been committed enough to give 100% for the full game.

A kick up the backside from ND and a good psychologist are needed (as they have been for the last few years).

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
