Megan Fitzsimon has been drafted with pick No.35, joining the Demons from Gippsland.

The 18-year-old is an explosive footballer who can play through the middle and up forward, and she knows how to kick a goal.

Fitzsimon has had a major impact during her time in the NAB League and will benefit from playing alongside some quality teammates at AFLW level.

    Also, just looking at the stats on Draft Central, it looks like she's been playing a lone hand on a pretty dismal Gippsland team. Whilst Gippy has won just one game in the past 2 years, Fitsimon has been named in their top 3 players on all but 1 of the 11 games she's played with them.

    I think that's what the comment of 'will benefit from playing alongside some quality teammates' means!

    Love the highlights clip. Kicks goals off both feet (seems to usually be a right footer but kicked a left foot snap out a pack near the end). Looks like a player!
