Pies Gone Past Us ??

Featured Replies

Pies have a better balance between inside and outside than we do.

Part of solution is to retire Lewis, not play inside mids Jones and Tyson on the wings and replace with outside hard running types.

Emergence of De Goey and Stephenson has been important.

Pies are like the Tigers: not great but their best players are in their prime and are experienced.  Sidebottom, Pendlebury, Treloar, Howe, Adams.

When our best players (Gus, Clarry, Hogan, Trac) are 25+ we will be a very good side.  expect some up and down seasons until then

Ever year a vic team v an interstate club for the flag, some clown comes out with the support the victoria club. Ferk sake I can't stand Collingwood, Essendon ,Geelong, Hawthorn, Richmond and Carlton. If an interstate club wins , great.

collingwood all work hard similar to mfc this season and have a very strong mid field with key players having returned recently. whereas their makeshift forward line is working for now but west coast wont let cox run at the ball and jump like he did against richmond and Collingwoods key backs will tested against Kennedy and Darling.

They are playing in a GF. We are not. Seems a question for the sake of a question
