A wonderful time

2000 and the new Millenium beckons.

Can we go that one step further.

The Pies showed us tonight that the underdog has a fair bit of bite.

Tigers fans expecting to make the grand final, already act like its a given. Even though I hate the pies, wouldnt mind them going over richmond to smack to arrogance right out of their fans. They say we celebrate too hard, but we celebrate every single step knowing how hard it is to even be in this position. You'd think they would feel the same way from their past but i remember 70% of their fans are bandwagon support.

Interesting flag betting market. Ladbrokes have Richmond at 1.90 Melbourne 5.00 West Coast 5.00 and Pies 5.70?

We are not favourites next week at 2.05 with WC 1.80

I would happily sit through 10 consecutive Richmond flags before seeing Colonwood win another.

50 thousand parolees/downers/pitbull owners telling the world how good they are?  Nah, I will support the 50 thousand dental refugees thanks.

But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
