Next two weeks will determine whether we have had an improved year or not, to improve you need to better your position on the ladder, I don't care who you beat to do this, at this stage we are looking at 9th and out by a game.  last year 9th out by percentage.

Our ability to score has improve, but our ability to defend has gone backwards

Agreed 100%.

Losing Lever so early was a huge knockout punch.

But at least we have discovered a role for Frosty

Not by the margins we have this year, which is why losing to the Saints at home was such a dark day

I said "better" opponents. This year we've beaten no "better" opponents.

Adelaide and Nought were “Better” than the MFC last year

Too many people went into Sunday's game expecting Melbourne would roll Sydney just because.

Look at the facts.

Sydney has an organised defence.

Melbourne struggles against an organised defence.

Ipso facto, Melbourne would struggle against Sydney.

Including the media experts.

And yet they’ll chew you up and spit you out, when things don’t go the way they think they should.

A lot of you guys are a bit guilty of drinking your own bath water. It would be nice if you could own up to some of these pre game statements as mistakes. Sydney are no pushovers and we waltzed in thinking we would win, but didn’t.

By all means point them out.
