I spoke with one of the MFC coaches on Sunday, Viney certain to play. Might play half vs Geelong VFL, would have played vs Giants if we had lost to WCE. Pretty insightful chatting to a coach must admit, some other insights I really enjoyed hearing.

What were the other insights?

I believe the club has since said that Viney won’t be played in the VFL - the plan is that he’ll go straight into the team on Friday week against Geelong.

Oskar Baker (hamstring) – 1 week
Bernie Vince (AC joint) – 1-2 weeks
Dean Kent (AC joint) – 2-3 weeks
Lochie Filipovic (hand) – 3-4 weeks

Hopefully all good after last night.

Gawn is clearly battle worn. Need to physio to work overtime this week

Spargo and Fritsch looked fatigued but hard to change a winning team.
