That would be awesome, I said a couple of weeks ago he would be the next Demon to debut (yeah I know not really going out on a limb)

Dont see how hed fit into the team this week however

Casey have the bye, and seeing Gus is there it looks like most, if not all, players went up, which wouldn't be a surprise after the NT government's comments about our lack of involvement a while back.

Hullett's definitely there. From MFC twitter:

COMMUNITY: and with the students at Yipirinya School. ??

Last year they took a couple of extras to Alice for community work.

Casey have a bye this week so it'd make sense that a couple of Melbourne listed players will be in Alice for the experience.

Would be fairly surprised if Hullett was playing this w/e.

Just the two changes this week in:Jetta, Tyson

out: mitchie (omitted) Oliver (corked quad)

Dawes listed as an emergency...

I wonder if there will be a late change as I can't see us risking Watts in the ruck again...

Agree and suspect it will be hunt as he is younger.  They will have learnt a lesson from the saints game and will bring fresh players in. Straight swap for jetta.

I think they will look to bring in some older hardened players. Perfect time to utilise our depth and give players a rest. So Grimes a chance, maybe dawes  and perhaps even trenners. For this reason i think Newtown is safe.

Any players with any niggles should not be picked  and for this reason i think they'll  rest oliver, viney and maybe even gawn.

I do wonder if they pick a squad with this week and next in mind. So emergencies will give a pointer to tge hawks game

All that said roos doesnt like making too many changes

Unbeleivably  they didn't learn their lesson. Couldn't believe Roos coming out and admitting they had stuffed up selection. Again

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
