THE BUGLER 2: WITH A VENGEANCE

Featured Replies

Another thread derailed by BBO in an opportunity to promote his perverse nature. Do you talk footy anymore? Your comments would be better suited to the comment section of tube-porn sites. You'd fit in well with the people who comment on porn videos.

why, what do they say? do tell

Nah Biffen is the porn expert.!

Anyway don't get too sanctimonious Song - a thread on the [censored] bugler is hardly of cutting edge importance to the club!

if you were standing beneath him with 3 minutes to go when he started to fire it up last Sunday, and saw the atmosphere it created, you wouldn't be saying that.

careful bbo, or you'll cop a gif

I was about four seats away from him when he started up. Perfect expression of my feelings. I hope to see him again on QB.

Love the Bugler playing when we have won! I couldn't make the game on Sunday but caught the last qtr and a half and could hear him on TV. Awesome!

Just picture this...... it's GF day and the dees have just kicked a goal to go up by 35 points at the 22 minute mark of the last quarter. Enter the bugler playing the grand old flag....

That would be the greatest day of my life (sorry to my wife).

Settle down Song - we all have different perspectives. I did note the bugler but I was more involved with the passion of the Dees supporters around me and also the chagrin of the Bullie's supporters around me. I'm sure I enjoyed the win just as much as you - as I said , don't get sanctimonious - we are all sitting in the same boat - just different seats.

Dee-luded. Fanfare for the Common Man/ELP. Hmm, a tad boring I think. If prog rock is your go, how about Conquistador/Procul Harem?

not for the game opening, just a warmup 30 - 40 mins before the game.

ac-dc 'hells bells' is the thing, as the players run out.

do you reckon he (de bugler) could give something like this a bash, as the supporters filter into the 'g' , before our games ? maybe with some support on bongo's or drums...

maybe the Bugler needs an incognito mask,,, like 'the stig', anonymous, mysterious ?

Wait a minute - you'd replace CARL PALMER by some busker on bongos????

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
