Well we've spent a lot of effort analysing the past and insulting eachother but does anyone think there's still areas that could stop our improvement this year (besides injuries)?

I think there are a lot of new faces who haven't played together which might take time to gel on field, but they might click straight from round 1. And if Jamar is not up and about we will rely on Spencer or Gawn who will get dominated by other experienced ruck men.

Pizz away.

Yet again, we have the Simpsons to show us truths about life that cannot be uncovered anywhere else. Who knew they would be able to sum up Ben Hur all the way back in 1996?

Gawn is the one who will be dominating this season

He will be a monster

Very sad to see players like Mclean & Sylvia not there anymore........They should have been our leaders...

The club started to rot! huge losses off the field, unstable board,no secured training base.no clear pathway for success & always in survival mode!

As we know now culture disappeared & replaced with losing one & hoping early draft picks would be the way up!

Players lost faith & treated poorly ( Macca etc)

Schwab & Connolly drove a wedge into the list & destroyed the fabric of a club!

Stage one: Denial.

Having had the misfortune of reading your inane ramblings for some years you'll forgive me for not seeking out your advice on any matter regarding the human race.

Feeling is mutual.

We all read your acid vitriol on a regular basis.

But you don't care so why even answer?

Talk about living in the past 64 ! Your boys couldn't even get a kick !

There were a few on the payroll before your other scapegoats.

Its a grand old flag, sing along whenever !

Schwab & Connolly drove a wedge into the list & destroyed the fabric of a club!

Don't think anyone can argue with that

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
