Anyone like any Superheroes or comics?

Because i found this gem on youtube really good fanmade show.

I'm a huge DC fan, or at least I used to be pre-New 52. DC sure do know how to ruin a good thing.

Thanks for the post, I'll check this out when I get home :D

I think there's also a fan made wonder woman movie around, I saw a trailer a few months back and it looked pretty good.

I grew up reading the old DC and Marvel comics in the 60's, and then later comics like Heavy Metal, Zap, Young Lust, Mr Zippy etc in the 70's (not superheroes, but I was, and still am, a big Robert Crumb fan).

I also grew up with Astro Boy, Prince Planet, Gigantor (Tetsujin 28), Stingray, Supercar, Thunderbirds etc on the TV as well as the original Superman and Batman TV series. Back then there was a nice innocence to them which is lacking these days, but I have to admit I do like the grittiness of Christopher Nolan's Batman... Tim Burton's was fun, but it lacked the campy quality of the Adam West character and had none of the hard edge that Nolan brings.

Ultraman was another superhero I came to enjoy a lot after many trips to Japan. Now I just need to get over there again to see the ginormous statues of Gundam (in Tokyo?) and Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor) in Kobe (or is it Kyoto?).

I've been Bad, please be gentle!

As a young man I had a soft spot for Wonder Woman!

Anyone seen the new Thor Movie?

Watch it last night. It was better than the first one but I thought the first half hour was pretty slow.

Loki really does save that movie, he's probably the best character in the current marvel cinematic universe.

Still staggered that Green Lantern cops huge amounts of crap considering how bad the first Thor movie was.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
