ps bump!

that was an unofficial bump...

could somebody report deanox to the mods ??

From what I saw last year ,Kick it to Dazzledavey.

Rollo might have been OK too .Strauss' Mate?

The rest of you need to be on a diet starting from last March.

Good Luck .

I actually think we can get the job done with the guys we already have.

But there is a wealth of talent in that list of guys who have not confirmed yet.

We all know dazzle. Enough said.

DeeM is the original "scotty's little brother", who fist played for us at age 12 or thereabouts. He has matured into a very handy player, and is still passionate about donning the red and blue.

Steve has rucked magnificently for us in the past, and we will be somewhat lost if he does not confirm.

Leeroy is dazzle's brother, and a complete footballer. Can play just about anywhere. Has the size and shape to do it all.

Cords1 and Cords2 are descendants of the original Cordner, and the bloodlines have shown through. They are lightening quick, and can run all day.

Melbournefc is a longstanding participant in these games, and has been a great organising support to me over the years.

I hope we get at least half of these guys on the day.

It's good to have a full bench.

But, as I said above, I think we can do the job without them if necessary.

Rollo you're giving me a bit of a reputation here.

The truth is, my actual football season only finished last week, so the only reason i can get a kick is due to my fitness base being half decent. Having said that the last few days, including Mad Monday (No dwarf's were set alight) might put have put me back in my place

That's a bit tough on almost all of our guys, bif... :o

The "good luck" means we won't be seeing you this year?

Hope you are the right side of 30, Chris..

DeeM could use some support in the future...

send me a pm with your first name, email address and mobile, and I will be sure to contact you next time...

Regards,

Rollo.

(not a lot of games left in our aging list, I suspect)...

I've just turned 19 earlier this year!

Enjoy your footy trip, and don't rush back...

We will get the job done without you guys this year...

Give my regards to scotty and your dad...

Yes I'm keen and ready to go. Just to put minds at ease only 1 of the guys I'll bring will be relatively unfit, others played full seasons this year. But the chance to play alongside a relatively unfit bro for even 20mins could not be passed up. Otherwise see us there in colours ready to rack up the possies!

Ben-Hur coming down for a game?

If this is the poster I think it is, mate...

His playing days ended a decade or three ago...

(well, that may be a little unfair, say two decades ago)...

Jesus, steve...

you are not supposed to say that you guys can play... :)

our opponents monitor this site, fcs...

oh, well, damage done...

btw, how did you manage to get a new site name so quickly?

Oh if opponents looking at this, I'm the 5ft 6 skinny red head with braces and a bung knee.

Was just looking or a new site name as I don't monitor my vey old uni email account and forgot user name. This seems appropriate. Thank for the idea.

So the plan is to switch it wide and run in droves.

let the bombers cruise through the middle, right?

Been awhile since I played in one of these, count me in!

  • Welcome to Demonland: Steven King

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
