If Rivers stayed would Tom McDonald ask to be traded, Rivers stays for two more seasons Tom says for seven. Geelong make tough calls(yes I'm aware Rivers walked) but this year Chappy and JPOD are told no more. This allows them to elevate players full time into the starting 22 rather than in and out depending on injuries and prepare the next batch coming through.
