Right Right Lets do a Davey or a Jamar Give him $500000 pa plus for another 4 years and really root our chances at building a great team without underperforming hacks with potential

better to "do a Rivers" and let him go for Gillies?

.....at least we wouldn't need to wait years to know how it works out

We should try hard to keep Colin. He has experience that we need. The right coach can still make something of Colin's career.

I hope he stays. Yes he frustrates me but i do not want him playing elsewhere.

We kept him 4 years ago when he could have been traded.

I hope he doesn't walk.

Get the right coach.

The club has yet to contact me. ;)

what we need is the right attitude by the players Sylivia included. Not sure I agree with the lack of experience is causing all our ills. Other clubs have young players in playing well and winning games.

well than i have to accept that. But alot of people are saying on here anyway that he should go and they dont care, and he's been useless. If he does not want to stay thats acceptable.. but thats not my point

You are a lil deluded I think .Col doesnt try hard for the club Col trys hard for Col when contract time is on Then just goes a way what a waste of all that potential Club will be better without him and would deliver an immediate improvement in culture. Walk away

We will not be better without him, not at all. his replacement will be rubbish... Than you lose out on someone who has won us matches.. probably to be replaced by someone who's done sweet FA

It's a bit defeatist though, rpfc. He's been a frustrating and inconsistent player over the journey, but his experience and body size are a requirement for our list. Particularly in the midfield. At least he has the skills and ability, rather than having to recruit a far less talented, experienced player like a Gilles or Pedersen, whose skills aren't up to it.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
