A very emotion charged article and a job well done by the Club to help out.

I'd like to donate something if I knew whether the club was opening an appeal.

Yes it is a great story something I would like to see in the media but unlikely.

Spot on mate. It's a story on two folds that should be printed in the media. The tough road our fearless soldiers face when injured and the fact a footy club could help out in a small way. I wouldn't care which club did this but the fact that it was ours makes me very happy. I wouldn't expect journo's to print a good story as that is beyond them.

This is great support for a good cause, and as an aside, another, building block of the MFC.

Too right, journos are all about making us feel bad....its rare indeed when they spread good news.

Yuh thuts ruly good aye.

Unuther kiwi bru fulling the love from oz.

Sweet bru.

Nice story and affect.Todays journos and their bait would not appreciate such an article.Today it's all about who can feel more affronted next.

Kero wilson,Pelican denham,[censored] barrett et el are all about misery and peoples foibles.Parasites like these are now dying the death they deserve.Their tabloid style to justify a wage won't last 12 months. The internet via social media, has dealt a death blow to these tired blow hards.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
