Authentic Jumpers

Hey Guys

I just wanted to give people the heads up about the authentic jumpers. They're a much slimmer cut than the others so if your ordering one online definitely go a size up.

Also I know some people aren't happy with the red on our jumpers but you'll be pleased to know they've pretty much got it spot on with this jumper. The fabric is heavier/thicker and the sponsors are printed into the fabric. The new MFC logo on the front is a nice touch and It also comes in a well presented MFC gift box.

Overal if if you've got the extra cash It's worth getting as It's a far better look than the cheaper version.

Cheers for that. I'm hoping Santa got me one. If not he will find some pointy objects in my chimney next year.

An authentic jumper is one which is not littered with corporate promotions, but one which the wearer pays a premium to the club to have the walking billboard features removed; something like the demonland website.

that's a quaint old-fashioned idea bd.

i happen to agree with you

i remember when brand names first started appearing on goods they were giveaways

somewhere along the way they conned us to not only paying for them but also at a premium

strange world

I always wondered why NFL and NBA players didn't have logos on their uniforms.

Guess that's about to change.

NBA owners left the Board of Governors meetings in Las Vegas happy in one regard: The long-awaited move of putting advertising patches on jerseys becomes official in two seasons, meaning the league is going to find a new way to fill its coffers. Deputy commissioner Adam Silver projects the ads will contribute $100 million per season, with the revenue expected to be split 50-50 between owners and players, since it will be part of the basketball-related income pool. Patches will measure two inches by two inches and will be stitched onto the jersey's shoulder.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
