Yeah I read this. Looks a little thin but I think we should give him a crack in the rookie draft.

Pennant Dee might have some info on him considering he watches a fair few WAFL games.

Will be picked up and don't think will last to rookie draft.

Good hands and will hold marks, he has been really good this year attacks the ball hard and his kicking is average to good so doesn't need to much work.

He was one of the local league players used by Freo to make up numbers in their intra club scratch match earlier this year and was one of the best forwards on the ground.

He will be a good pick up as a third tall

First time, long time.

Given that Neil Craig was responsible for drafting him and letting him go after a year, I feel like we're well placed to have the inside word on what would need to have changed to make him worthwhile.

It seems like Neeld's choices are based on attitude and talent in that order.

Gone to saints - prelisted with pick 24 for pick 12

One would assume St. Kilda would receive a 1st round compensation pick for Brendan Goddard. But now they aren't even in possession of a 1st round pick. One would assume that it wouldn't matter and they will still receive a pick after their ladder position pick i.e. pick 13. FA is certainly going to make things very messy for trade month as what you trade for may be of lesser value after the compo picks are delt out. Particularly as there is no clarity to what clubs may get in compensation.

One would also assume that I used the phrase "one would assume" too many times in the one paragraph. One would assume.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
