Obviously I don't need to answer my own questions - if I did, then why would I ask

I asked you the question. If you don't know the answer then say so. If you do know then answer it.

Weasel.

It was my question originally Bob, in case you have forgotten. I know the answer, but I was hoping someone else would have the clarity of thought, observation, or experience, to answer it!

What is your answer ..... weasel?

Because I think you are wrong. You just don't have the cohones to expose your idiocy by writing it down.

No need for offensive language Bob - try thinking about the answer - it will take a long time I suspect, but keep trying!

Offensive language?!?! Show me the offensive language - there is none and you are trying to weasel out of answering the question.

And answer the question, weasel. You are wrong. The smartest thing you have done is try to not answer the question.

Let's see how we go in Darwin. I truly hope most of you 'patience people' are correct and 2012 is just a pre-season for 2013. However, I can assure you that the brief that neeld was given by the power brokers was to win more games than 2011.

Behind closed doors, neeld is under enormous pressure, as he should be. It is not only his position on the line, but the pairings of schwab, mclardy and the board. All of whom have overseen this 5 year rebuild.

As usual you make grand sweeping statements based on your notion of the truth that goes on in your own mind.

Neeld knows its an important time but the club is backing him to the hilt. If he goes down they all will go down together. They are under no illusion. He is working hard on many aspects of the team and is not under any more 'enormous' pressure than he was round one.

I don't know where you get this stuff...l

Half a season into a three year project - and some want to just sack him now.

What is their alternative? A "collective"? Another fill in coach? Or do they know of a proven Premiership coach just standing in the wings waiting to be asked?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
