I don't know whether we need another Cale Morton topic but it is reported today that he has suffered a slight medial strain on Saturday at his home. Poor Cale. Just when it looked like some of that missing potential was coming to the fore he is out for two matches. I personally was looking forward to him starting off well in Brisbane. Sooth all you nay sayers!

It is disappointing as I was also looking forward to seeing what Cale had to offer after a long pre season under a new coaching group.

I just hope by seasons end, people won't be using this little two week lay off as another 'injury interrupted pre season.'

Two weeks is nothing, so we shall see how much he has improved in the early rounds!

Also just up on the MFC website Sam Blease unavailable for selection this weekend as he was late to a team meeting Tuesday morning. Also facing a financial sanction.

Well here is another pre-season that will have been interupted (after last years finger injury). Let's hope it doesn't derail his season (again)...
