This could be all over in 4. The sweep is on. Who was it that tipped the Rangers again?

Gebus, how are the Kings going?! If they win the series that's 2 out of 3 years and a true quality team.

NHL has definitely taken the backseat to the World Cup in Canada. Barely any talk about the final, even though it could all end tonight. 1-0 Kings late in the 2nd period.

EDIT: Make that 1-1 in late in the 2nd.

Rangers now have a 2-1 lead ... could we have a game 6?

Lundqvist doing his utmost to keep them in it.

Edit: 30 seconds later it's 2-2!

Nope the comeback Kings.... Do it again in OT. Insane. Such a quality team and such a surly old salty coach.

The Kings looked the dominant team for the most part and they thoroughly deserved their triumph. The Rangers fought hard but they just couldn't hold on to a lead ... LA have to take the credit for that though - they're just never beaten.

Too good ... highlights of game 5

So who gets through to the conference finals? ... it's sort of looking like the Blackhawks/Ducks & Capitals/Lightning but the Rangers might overhaul Washington. Montreal will need to get a hurry on too.

Macca have not been able to see any of it besides the 2nd period of the Eild Hawks game replay on right now, Hawks will get that one.

Hoping the the Caps and the Lightning get through as well.

Blackhawks/Ducks should be epic - go Hawks!! Think Rangers might get past the Lightning with some comfort but I thought the same against the Caps and we got 7 one goal games.

Hoping for a Blackhawks/Rangers final but of course, anything could happen.

I just reckon a Chicago vs New York final would be great for the sport.

Both conference finals into Game 7. Hawks/Ducks has been just ridiculous - 4 goals in 6 minutes today to go with 3 goals in 37 to the Ducks earlier in the series. 3 of the 6 games have gone to OT.

Rangers/Bolts has been a really different series but no less engaging. Can Henrik keep it together for one more?

With the Blackhawks now through here is the schedule for the best of 7 finals ... all times AEST

Game 1: Thursday, June 4 ... Chicago @ Tampa Bay 10.00am
Game 2: Sunday, June 7 ... Chicago @ Tampa Bay 10.00am

Game 3: Tuesday, June 9 ... Tampa Bay @ Chicago 10.00am
Game 4: Thursday, June 11 ... Tampa Bay @ Chicago 10.00am

Game 5: Sunday, June 14 ... Chicago @ Tampa Bay 10.00am

Game 6: Tuesday, June 16 ... Tampa Bay @ Chicago 10.00am

Game 7: Thursday, June 18 ... Chicago @ Tampa Bay 10.00am

Blackhawks just keep finding the way to get it done when it counts.

Blackhawks just keep finding the way to get it done when it counts.

how's their record when up after the 2nd period 32 - 0 - 0 !!

Leafs fan (hey they're the Demons of the NHL right?), but rooting for the Chicago.

Tampa get one back so at least their home fans will get to see them at least one more time ... I reckon the Lightning might sneak a win out of the next 2 in Chicago anyway - if not, then the Blackhawks will be hard to stop with a 3-1 lead.

... today's highlights

From all reports Tampa have been the better team in the Blackhawks 2 wins ... the teams are evenly matched all the same (the stats from the 4 games thus far back up that claim)

Chicago have the experience but Tampa aren't going away in a hurry either ... a 7th game is on the cards.

BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was a great series. Lightning will get there chance.

Yep, the Blackhawks just too good ... their 3rd Stanley cup in 6 years and 6th Stanley cup all-time - highlights game 6

... here's Jonathan Toews with the iconic moment ...

Well deserved. Now bring on the offseason! Hoping that the Leafs can pull some trading magic to land Connor McDavid, who is tipped to become one of the greatest of all time. Unfortunately, it's more than likely that he'll become an Oiler, as they've got pick #1 yet again...

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
