We are not blessed with unselfish types

Ive watched this list closely and 7 - 8 of this group are playing self centered football to the detriment of the club. I dont care for any of this selfish lot and they should be weeded out immediatly!!

By god we need some hard nuts who will sacrifice themselves for this club...we have recruited some troublemakers and selfish bastards.

And Scully can go as well...sick up to the backteeth of his selfish crap as well!

It's called self preservation, they all know there is going to be a clean out of the list and they are doing whats best for themselves and not the team. Pretty common with teams down the bottom end of the ladder at this time of year, not what you expect from a side who crazy as it is can still scramble into 8th (which i do not think by any means they will)

Yeah, there are certainly a few who only agree to play the game on their terms which is so frustrating to watch.

Can't believe having already had a big clean out we still have players who fail to meet the required standard as far as commitment goes.

How many rebuilds do we need?

your obviously referring to the fact that he is the only player who is expected to have signed mid season?

Because if you think he is a selfish player then you obviously dont watch us play at all......

Bloody hell. Reality bites!

On that note....i'm off to bed to rest my weary head!

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
