Hi Guys, (well those of you outside Vic and Tas)

Seems if you live in a major city you won't get the game until 11:30pm

and if you are outside a major city ( e.g Canberra) you'll need to wake up at 4am for your first glimpse on FTA (of course the Mainevent Foxtel Channel will show it at 7:30pm)

Apparently Senator Conroy himself is the man to blame!

all this after last week's game was live at 7:30pm on 7Mate!

So so wrong..

feel free to vent your fury!

Or am I wanting too much?

think its on @ 8.30 pm in WA? (after better homes and gardens...)

On at 9.30 on Prime in Canberra.

According to their website, according to other guides it isn't on at all, AFL does not exist, and Melbourne is a suburb of Florida.

I have an absolutely awesome interwebz link for Friday night games but won't post it here.

If you want to PM me I'll send it through but only for requests in the next 30 minutes.

it is say 9:30pm on Seven..still not great bit better than 4am!

Well, I'm one of those bourgeois elitist pigs who have Foxtel... so I'm looking forward to the kick-off at 7:40pm :-)

The pub, cause seven mate isn't your mate, they will be playing a Steve Martin comedy (?) 'starring' the kid that played Clark Kent in Smallville.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
